RAVE: The Best Top Coat/French Manicure Trio Ever!

Just as a little background, I've never tried Orly Polishes before, and I'm happy to say that I'm (surprisingly) very impressed! I've never really been one to paint my nails as a french manicure because I have very shaky hands when I'm under pressure to make a perfect and symmetrical white tip. But, I must say that the Orly French Tip polish is very pigmented, and forgiving as well. And you can't really say that with many beauty products. If you by chance make a mistake (I make lots of them myself), then all you need to do is take a pointed Q-tip and wipe it right off! Also, just as a side note, I loved the nude Orly French Manicure polish so much, that I bought two other ones but in the sheer red color because I like that better since it gives my nails a blush/healthy effect.

This usually lasts me about 10 days before my first chip, and I'm constantly using my hands.

Here's how I paint my nails french:
1. Nudes. I don't really use a base coat. Instead I just lay one coat of the nude-colored nail polish on each finger. You can add two coats if you'd like, but since I have tanned skin, it would make my nails look clownishly pale.
2. Tips Baby. I usually do two coats of the white tip polish because again, I'm clumsy and have shaky hands, so I usually go over mistakes.
3. Erase that shi- away. Take a pointed Q-tip and wipe off all the nailpolish you got on your cuticles (if you don't have any, then I hate you for being so neat). Also, gently wipe off any mistakes you made with the white tip on the rims. Be gentle, because you just want to wipe that white tip polish over, not your nude coat. Let your polish dry for about 3-5 minutes, just so you know it's super dry.
4. Bump it Up. The best for last of course. Orly Polishield! Add just one major coat of this to your nails, wait 3 minutes for it to dry, and your nails I promise you, will look fake (in a good way - people pay so much money to get this effect!)

So, the Orly Polishield is the entirely the reason I made this blog post in the first place. This is honestly, the BEST topcoat I have ever tried. Honestly, it's like liquid plastic in a nailpolish bottle. It will make your nailpolish last an obscene amount of time without any chipping! Even when I have brittle nails because I overbuff them, it makes my polish last for at least a week and a half without a chip. The look it gives to your nails is like no other top coat I've ever tried. I've tried Seche Vite, OPI, Revlon, Sally Hansen, etc and absolutely nothing compares to this. And another thing that I'm really impressed by this is how it's continually shiny until you take it off. Most topcoats fade and lose their luster, but not this one. If you have access to an ULTA, or if you can get this online - do it! You will never go back to anything else, because it's just that amazing.

INSANITY

Insanity is literally the hardest workout I've ever come across. It makes me feel so energized even after a long day at work. I'm sure everyone has 40 minutes (max.) to spare and try it out. The DVDs are a bit pricey but totally worth it!!
Try at least one video and you won't be able to stop. Get off your computer and try it NOW!Before and after pics to come :)

Well..

Well... this is as good as it's going to get. Hallelujah

Pissed

All I wanted to do was image map it. But that didn't work out. Still frustrated. Damn blogger -_-

It seriously would've looked BADASS if it would've let me image map. But nooooo, they have to be all fancy and use XML.

Soo..

I'm still sitting here trying to figure this out and make it look good. where did all the links go?
This is frustrating.

Hello there, I kind of wanted to try out this new layout after a million trials and errors. I seriously am such a noob when it comes to XML. Google had to make it all complicated and shit. I miss the days of HTML and CSS :(
