Just as a little background, I've never tried Orly Polishes before, and I'm happy to say that I'm (surprisingly) very impressed! I've never really been one to paint my nails as a french manicure because I have very shaky hands when I'm under pressure to make a perfect and symmetrical white tip. But, I must say that the Orly French Tip polish is very pigmented, and forgiving as well. And you can't really say that with many beauty products. If you by chance make a mistake (I make lots of them myself), then all you need to do is take a pointed Q-tip and wipe it right off! Also, just as a side note, I loved the nude Orly French Manicure polish so much, that I bought two other ones but in the sheer red color because I like that better since it gives my nails a blush/healthy effect.
This usually lasts me about 10 days before my first chip, and I'm constantly using my hands.
Here's how I paint my nails french:
So, the Orly Polishield is the entirely the reason I made this blog post in the first place. This is honestly, the BEST topcoat I have ever tried. Honestly, it's like liquid plastic in a nailpolish bottle. It will make your nailpolish last an obscene amount of time without any chipping! Even when I have brittle nails because I overbuff them, it makes my polish last for at least a week and a half without a chip. The look it gives to your nails is like no other top coat I've ever tried. I've tried Seche Vite, OPI, Revlon, Sally Hansen, etc and absolutely nothing compares to this. And another thing that I'm really impressed by this is how it's continually shiny until you take it off. Most topcoats fade and lose their luster, but not this one. If you have access to an ULTA, or if you can get this online - do it! You will never go back to anything else, because it's just that amazing.
